Referring to your inquiry of July 14, I give below the names of the colored employees of this Office, together with their titles and salaries; all of them being employed in Washington, D. C.:
George E. Love, Unskilled Laborer, $600 per annum
Luther McLeod, Unskilled Laborer, $600 per annum
Paul McGee, Unskilled Laborer, $480 per annum
Mary E. Brooks, Charwoman, $240 per annum
