Text
My dear Philippus:
I am sincerely interested in what you tell me of your son’s offer of service and I hope that it may be accepted. Personally, as you will understand, I am taking no part in these choices because I think I ought to let the choice be as impersonal as possible, but I shall learn with a great deal of interest whether his services have been accepted or not.
In haste, with cordial old-time regard,
Faithfully yours,
Woodrow Wilson
Mr. Philippus W. Miller,
Belford,
St. Davids, Pennsylvania.
