Dear Miss Boyle:
No contribution has pleased me as much as the one from you and the Chief. It touched my cords of friendship and affection. Many, many thanks for the Red Cross, but more thanks for the fellow you happens to be at this time the Chairman.
It was nice to get a glimpse of you the other day and to see that you have stood the scares of your operation so well. As I told you I had a fellow feeling for you, and could appreciate to some degree what you have been through with. I am so happy that you are coming back to your normal self.
