My dear Dr.
I am so sorry I will not be home in time to see you if you set sail on the 6th so I am sending this little line to wish you the happiest trip—God speed and a safe return.
I had a little talk with Mr. BMB on the phone when I came through NY the other day—He sounded in good spirits and said he knew you and he would have a fine time together
I am going to Boston today to see Jessie before she sails away and Randolph and I expect to be home Monday night—when you may feel sure we will do all we can for Altrude in your absence and be on hand to help her should she or the boys need us—my love to her—Do take care of yourself and know how many thoughts will follow you wherever you go—Randolph joins in bon voyage—and good luck—
