Text
Dear Admiral Grayson
This is a belated acceptance (unless the statute of limitations has run against me) of your kind invitation conveyed through the Board of Managers of The Alfalfa Club to visit your premises from 4:45 to 7 pm November 23rd. Since I am so late I shall content myself with one slice of ham and one small high ball.
Thanking you, I am,
Sincerely yours,
Charles D Drayton
