Dear Chick
Would Admiral Grayson write a letter of recommendation for me attesting to my personal character, integrity & reliability & his opinion of my becoming an officer in the Naval Reserve, Intelligence Division.
It should be addressed to the Commandant, 3rd. Naval District & sent to me so that I may enclose it with my application.
I hope you have a grand time & enjoy the wedding.
Son.
