Text

Dearest,

Thursday—I have had a busy day at the Dispensary and the Medical School. Dr Axson occupied considerable time. I think that I can mend him up all right.

The President is much better in every way. So much so that I am really thinking seriously of going to Saratoga. He and Miss Edith want me to go off for a vacation. Should I go I want you to go too, but, do which is the most convenient and satisfactory all round for you. I think the trip will do you good and you will enjoy it more than you realize before going—we can decide definitely on Sunday when I come to Blue Ridge.

This is a poor excuse of a letter, but it brings lots of love for my darling. Good night and tell the little fellows I love them—my best to Mrs. Flournoy—
