Dear Dr Grayson
I am a friend of Margaret Wilson and Mrs. Macdonald Sheridan and the Cromptons and an ardent admirer of Mr. Wilson’s policies, which I have defended in all circles of my friends.
Nerve breakdown happened to me - with following indigestion, loss of 36 lbs. from 135 to 99 -
I write because my experience of Dr. West, 75 Park Av. NY City convinces me of his method being best. Twice a day I use his “Gravitises” lying on it & by a crank lowering my head 12 inches and remaining for 3 minutes in that position. Taking the pressure from various organs, and from numerous blood vessels & nerves, has a great effect in restoring normal action to the intestines. I have asked Dr. West to send you some of his explanatory pamphlets.
President Wilson is the only man to tackle these tremendous problems of industrial unrest, and the world league, but tell him to have faith that the divine impulse which impels him, will thro his speeches and influence, carry on his work, even while he for a time must pause in his activities.
Dr. West does not keep his patient inert, or unhappy by inaction. Do let him help you in your task.
I am most respectfully & cordially yours
