My dear Miss Clarke:
I want to thank you very much for your letter of January 6th and for your kindness in sending me the enclosures. I shall be greatly interested in reading them. The President did suffer from prostatic trouble, but I am happy to say that from all indications he has completely recovered from this ailment.
May I assure yuou that your friendly interest is deeply appreciated?
With kind regards,
Sincerely yours,
[Handwritten note]: Suggests French surgeon
Miss Rose Clarke,
