Secretary of Labor,Washington.

The agricultural division and the industrial division of the IWW organization called strike for Monday the twentieth on Sunday the nineteenth the military authorities arrested the secretary of the industrial division in Spokane together with twenty six others they are all held as military prisoners Sunday evening the secretary of the industrial division called off the strike we have kept in close touch with the conditions in the agricultural district of the State and find that no appreciable number of laborers have quit in answer to the call for a strike. This strike call seems to be a complete failure there is plenty of labor in the agricultural districts and the men are satisfied generally with the conditions fear of IWW activity in this State is fast declining.
