Dear Mr. President

I notice that Col. House is to have as "military adviser" Gen. Bliss. Ought he not also to have a naval adviser? Combined operations will probably be necessary and in the possibility of such operations, and even in the discussion as to its wisdom, would he not find it of the greatest value to have a naval officer with whom he could freely consult and who would keep him informed?
