My dear Mr. Secretary

The New York World & N.Y. Tribune both stated yesterday that I had asked to be called before the Senate Committee re Baker, etc.

The Tribune stated I had sent a telegram to Senator Wadsworth
I sent no such telegram I have not directly or indirectly asked to be called. I have so notified the Associated Press.
