Dear Mr. President
Sometime ago I wrote to you telling you of the splendid work this Fraternity is doing for our country in the winning of this war. At that time I said that practically fifty percent of the active members were in the service of our Army and Navy. Your Secretary, Mr. Tumulty was kind enough to aknowledge that letter.

Dear Mr.
Now I have received word that two of our Brothers. Walter T. Cohee and Russell G. Hughes, were both killed in action in France during the month of March. In conveying the heartfelt sympathy we feel to the parents of these young men who have been killed, could we not have a word from you to incorporate in our letter? I am sure that we would appreciate and it would mean a great deal to the parents of these dear brave Brothers who have made their supreme sacrifice. With best wishes from all the members of this Fraternity and may God be with you through all your hours of toil and effort to bring the war to a successful and honorable end, I am
Yours most respectfully,Henry J. Barbour
President.
