My dear Uncle Woodrow
Your letter, with check enclosed, was received this morning and I thank you very much indeed. I am going to get the hdw. man, for whom Mr. Dyer works, to order me the best cage he can get for $500 and I'm sure your namesake will sing very proudly in his cage given him by you -- thank you again & again.

Of course you know, before now, that Chicot co. Ark. went over the top 4th Loan -- 119 per cent of her quota. She was slow but sure & I was mighty glad she didn't fail you. The united war work campaign is on now and I am chairman of the girls Victory Club work in Chicot Co. I do hope we will raise our quota. I am going to do my best and I want you to pray for me in this work. Will you do that for me?I wont worry you longer this time. You don't know how grateful I am for the check. The fondest love from all of us to all of you.
Lovingly Your NieceJessie Dyer.
