Text
My dear Woodrow
E. P. Davis
I cannot tell you how proud and happy I am these days, that you have not only done great things, but that some recognition follows. I have always believed you predistined for this, and greater yet to come; but to see it, strengthens my faith in God and man.
The Secretary of War has made me a member of the Medical Board of the Council for National Defence: Mrs. Davis has set up a Red Cross Unit near the Farm, so we are “doing our bit.” I am, in spare moments, to work in the kitchin garden, hoeing potatoes! We will send you some!
With my kindest regards and best wishes to Mrs. Wilson
E. P. Davis
