Text

My dear Wightman:–

Thank you warmly for your letter of July twelfth. It was delightful to hear from you. Mrs. Wilson and my daughters join in the warmest messages. It was fine to read a translation of the editorial. It seems strange to have people I do not know and who are at so great a distance, interested in my political fortune.

Cordially and sincerely yours,
Woodrow Wilson
