Dearest -
I had to go out so early with Mother this morning I did not have time to tell you of the night — I got to bed a little before one and went to sleep almost at once and did not move until five minutes after seven! — That tells the story Sweetheart - and I will only add — I love you.
Your own,
Edith
I do hope you will go out for a game this afternoon and that you took the walk, as you promised, last night
Our ride was so lovely — but your absence – made even the beauty of the night unsatisfying
