Dearest -
Thank you more than I can say for the books - they will always be a treasured possession, and I almost wish you had written in them -I think the “Dedication” to your father is one of the most beautiful tributes I ever read -and so like you in every word -I hope he was still living when you wrote it - for it would mean such infinite things to him —I was out when Mr - Hoover brought the package — and I can't resist sending just a line to thank you for the note as well as the books -
