PERSONAL
My dear Senator:
Thank you for your note of the 25th. I was not aware that your son-in-law was here. If he is well enough to receive callers, may I not have the pleasure of seeing him. Possibly you would give me the name of his physician, when I could ask advice. It will be necessary for me to remain here, as you suggest, until I have passed the “safety line”. I am now beginning to take a little exercise, which is most encouraging.
With best regards, believe me
Yours sincerely,
Hon. Carter Glass,
United States Senate,
Washington, D. C.
