My dear Governor:
Absence from home has prevented an earlier acknowledgement of your kind note of October 10th. I am writing now to express my pleasure at noting your safe return from abroad and to assure you of my appreciation of your kind invitation to visit the Federal Reserve Bank at New York before the convening of Congress in December. This I shall endeavor to do, perhaps sometime next month, when I will notify you of my coming.
