My dear Governor:
Your letter of the fifteenth addressed to Secretary McAdoo enclosing telegrams regarding his proposed trip to the West is received. As he left White SulphurSaturday night for California and as he has already mapped out his trip and selected his destination, I fear that it will be impossible for him to take advantage of the information you so kindly furnished him. I shall be glad, however, to show him your letters as soon as he returns to the office.
Sincerely yours,
Private Secretary.
