Cary T. Grayson served as President Woodrow Wilson's personal physician during the year's of the administration and Wilson's retirement. A close friend of Wilson and his second wife, Edith Bolling Wilson, Grayson accompanied the Wilson on his trips to Paris and his campaign tours. His detailed personal diaries are the only sources for many of the events that Wilson experienced during these years.
He came from a prominent Virginia family and married Alice Gertrude Gordon, the daughter of a successful railroad developer.

Folder

The photographs were donated by the Grayson family after earlier gifts of Grayson material that contained pictures, but the Grayson Family Photographs include images from the entire history of the family from JJ Gordon to the time when Cary T. Grayson's children were adults.
In addition to travel and vacation pictures, the collection also holds pictures of Cary T. Grayson with other members of the Roosevelt Inauguration Committee and personalized cartoons from Clifford Berryman
