STATEMENT GIVEN OUT AT THE EXECUTIVE OFFICES,
WASHINGTON, FOR RELEAST FOR AFTERNOON
PAPERS, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4th.

Secretary Tumulty will not accompany the President's party to France but at the request of the President will remain in Washington in charge of the Executive Offices, to keep the President in touch with matters in this country.
