Dear Mr. McAdoo;
Glad to know that you have come west to live, but doubt if it is a good political move, if you have the Presidency in mind, and I sincerly hope that I may have the opportunity of voting for you for that office.
Oscar told me that he saw you in Los Angeles, and that they gave you a hearty reception.
Oscar has been in Los Angeles about a year, and if you have an idea of buying a home there, I think it will pay you to have him quietly look you up what you want, I believe that he can find what you want easier than you can, and save you money in the purchase.
Oscar will be back in a few days and will call on you, and assist you in any way that he can in getting a location for home and office.
I was hoping that you would come through Phoenix, and take a day or two off and go Bass fishing with me at Roosevelt. Will be glad to hear from you at any time.
Yours very truly
John L. Irvin
