Text

My dear Heath:

Thank you for your letter and for sending me Professor Richard Henry Wilson's interesting letter. His suggestion is a most interesting one and my impulse would be to avail myself of it, but I do not believe that the field is exactly ready for the kind of ploughing and sowing that he suggests. I will take the liberty of keeping his letter, in case circumstances should arise which would suggest calling upon him.

It was a great pleasure to be greeted by your letter on my return, and this carries with it very affectionate messages.

Faithfully yours,
Woodrow Wilson
