Text

My dear Senator

The way in which your committee has handled the matter of the arbitration treaties makes me very warm around he heart. I certainly feel deeply grateful for the support the committee is giving me. I did not at all exaggerate at our little meeting the full meaning that all this has with regard to the foreign policy of the country.
With sincere appreciation,

Cordially and faithfully yours,
Woodrow Wilson

Hon. Augustus O. Bacon,
United States Senate.
