Text

My Dear Mr. President

I inclose an important dispatch from Page. It seems to me that it will be time enough to decide whether you will receive Carden when you find that he is going to be sent back. I think Huerta might now be out but for the moral encouragement he has received from European governments and the material aid he has received from abroad in the way of arms and ammunition.

With assurances of regard, I am, my dear Mr. President,
Very truly yours,
WJ Bryan
