Text
Dear Mr. President
À Dios
Yours affectionately
How I wish I could help you carry some of your burdens.
The Mexican business is very trying but the great bulk of the American people are with youThe enclosed may amuse you. There is much truth in it, though the mine owner is not the only sinnerI see by the paper this morning that the tax assessors at Princeton have decided to tax the new Graduate School buildings, on the ground that they are not devoted to educational usesHave just come back from a bully little cruise. We raced “Corona” around Cape Cod for a $50000 cup, for Schooners built prior to 1900, given by Robert Tod, who was not considered by Jimmie McCosh “fit for my College”. We raced in a half gale & the old boat won hands down
À Dios
Yours affectionately
