Text
My dear Heflin:
Thank you warmly for your letter of November 12th. It was characteristic of you in its warmth and generosity. You may be sure I am not the least dismayed by the result of the elections, and I shall wait with the greatest interest to see how the Republicans fulfill the big promises they have made to the country. They will have my full cooperation in fulfilling them.
Cordially and sincerely your friend,
[Woodrow Wilson]
Hon. J. Thomas Heflin,
House of Representatives.
