The members of the Womens Home Foreign Missionary Society of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, who represent a membership of five thousand women and who are assembled in annual convention at Asbury Park, New Jersey, beg to call your attention to the race riots which have recently disgraced our country. We ask you to use the influence of your high position and office to obtain fair and just treatment for the race of which we are a part.
