Hon. President Woodrow Wilson,
President United States America
Washington, DC

Honorable Sir;-

I am sending you a picture of your name sake my baby he is 16 months old weighs 21 ½ lbs, has walked since he was 11 months old, has all his teeth and is beginning to talk. he is paying on his second liberty bond and has pledged for $30.00 of War Saving Stamps, which is good when his daddy is only getting $90.00 a month and has had sickness and other misfortunes to hold him down.

My prayer to God above is that I will be able to give him an education, so that he will be at least one tenth the credit to the name that you have been, for you are God’s disciple and all the world Loves you and you deserve it.

Someday I hope to have you meet Woodrow of Texas, for every one calls him that, face to face. I’ll let you judge if he is worthy of the name.

Yours truly,
MJ Fugmann

Dallas, Texas

On Picture: This is Woodrow Fugmann. His full name is Milton Woodrow Fugmann. Age 16 months.
