Your 3 THB just received and communicated to the President. I have not been sending you information or instructions because Colonel House has direct communication with the President and you are doubtless conferring with him fully. General Pershing has just sent me a copy of a letter sent by him October 30th to Supreme War Council. The letter was not previously submitted to the President and you will rely on Colonel House for the President’s views in such matters. Cable me freely your own views if you desire any points especially considered by the President. BAKER
