My dear Baker,
Thank you for the enclosed dispatch and for your comment upon it under date of October 19th. It is very valuable indeed for me to have these side lights in dealing with the men in authority on the other side of the water. I have again and again had occasion to regret that Mr. Lloyd George insisted upon being represented by Sir Henry Wilson.
