Dearest;

    Herewith draft for £30 which I am rushing off in a great hurry. Yours of the 10th came yesterday. Sorry Mary is so disappointed but there may be other chances. I too had thought of consulting Mrs. Lochner but she is still away on holiday with her husband; they are due back end this week, and I don’t know whether I shall have an opportunity of seeing her before I leave. I will talk to Lochner about it.

    Enclosed is a restaurant room at Büsum, the walls of which are entirely covered with shells of all sorts made into pictures, rare and wonderful to behold, with starfishes stuck on the ceiling. It’s the sight of the town, where there are no other sights.

    This day week I hope to be en route. Just send me a postcard to acknowledge this. Once again we are in the throes of flying stunts, most trying.
Love to all, in great haste,
Thine,
J
