Dear Daddy
I with I had seen the cat with the mice on top,
We are getting ready to come visit you.
I am sorry I did not write this letter before. I am sure it will not be there in time. The post card of May the 5th took two days to come. I wish we were safe beside you.
Love and a kiss to you from Mary.
