Dear Daddy,
We went to the Grundys on Thursday. Bill has a nice new suit and Mother has finished our new tweed coats. They do look nice. We are going to school tomorrow. I am not in the big room yet. But I am going to have the same lessons as the big room. A lot are leaving and Lola is too because her aunt is dead. I am quite well now. John is out with Bill. They walk to Gold Hill every morning. Mother is quite well.
Love,
from Mary
