CHIEF CLARK OF THE DEPARTMENT:
I am in receipt of your memorandum of July 14, 1914, requesting, for the information of the Secretary, a memorandum containing in tabulated form the number of colored employees in this office, the position held by each, and the salary paid.
In reply you are informed that there are no colored employees in or under the jurisdiction of this office.
