Hon. Woodrow Willson,
Washington D.C.

Dear Mr. President -

I am a Republican and have always voted the Republican ticket. I admire you very much. My admiration was increased very substantially for you when I read the papers this morning - giving your attitude towards the negro segregation and the way you spoke to Trotter the spokesman of the Negro delegation who called on you yesterday. You are right and the Republicans of the South believe as you do about this matter.

Very Sincerely
James E. Tharpe
