MEMORANDUM
NO. 15.
SUBJECT: Gymkhana.


1. Horse shows having been completed, it is desired to continue interest in matters pertaining to animals, etc., and to this end it has been decided to carry out a series of Gymkhana for officers, to be given at Corps Headquarters and later at the headquarters of the various divisions comprising the Corps.

The first Gymkhana for officers will be held on the show grounds at Boudreville on Saturday, March 22, 1919, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, and it is desired that this information be brought to the attention of all officers of this command with a view to the participation therein of as many as may desire to enter.Each Division Commander will appoint an officer of his command to give publicity to this event and to take charge of matters pertaining to entries from the division in the events indicated. All entries will be forwarded so as to reach these headquarters not later than March 19, 1919.

Animals to be ridden by officers, with necessary attendants should be sent to Boudreville so as to arrive not later than March 21, 1919. Necessary stable room and forage will be on hand for animals. Attendants should bring their mess equipment. Arrangements will be made for the messing of attendants on the show gounds. Luncheon for all visitors on March 22nd will be served on the field.
