Text

Since she came to live at the White House Helen Taft’s name has been linked in a sentimental way with nearly every young man’s in society. Now the gossips have yoked her to Cary Grayson. Cary has gone with the Yellowstone party, to be sure, but that is just the sort of an outing he likes, and, furthermore, he was urged to go, for the President feels perfectly safe when Dr. Cary has his children in charge. Although an audacious sport and taking any risk where he alone is concerned, Cary is most careful when women are in his charge. Helen Taft is deliberate in all things, and it is safe to assume that due deliberation will mark her selection of a husband.
