Dear Friend
I am terribly sorry to have missed you when you were in Washington. I have read your medical report as I am very much interested. Doctor Bloedorn has given you as fine an examination and directions as you could get.
I am sailing Friday night with Senator Glass. I hope that we can have a meeting as soon as possible after my return which will be about the tenth of September.
Follow Doctor Bloedorn’s directions and use your own good common sense about yourself and you will live to render valuable service for many years.
My best regards, in which Mrs. Grayson and the boys would join if they knew I was writing to you.
Your sincere friend,
Cary T. Grayson
