Dear Sir,

While President Wilson is enjoying a much needed rest may I extend to him through you an invitation to spend as much time as he will on a nice real country place I have in Macon County Ala. between the quiet little country cities of Tuskegee and Notaswega located on the Main dirt Road about six miles from the Western RR Piney Woods sandy soil spring water that is almost pure (no trace of minerals.) so helpful to the kidneys and nerves, produces an apetite and causes real rest and sleep I really believe that a month or six week spent there would do the President so much good. he would be free from the curiosity crowd and enjoy the friendship of a high class of Poor Farmers good old honest people. he could have just enough hunting fishing and walking through the fine country and woods to make him feel young again and the fine horseback riding he would enjoy so much In plain words leave all business cares behind and try to be a boy again. Our Winters are not very cold just cold enough to have good hog killing weather occasionally. The Wires of the American Telephone Telegraph co pass before the door which would keep him in touch with all official Business. only about two hours ride to the beautiful and historical City of Montgomery. Tuskeggee and Notaswega join me in extending this invitation and we will all do all in our power to make his trip all he could expect with my best wishes for good health for the President and yourself I am

very Respectfully
