Dear Sir,
The inclosed clipping explains your attitude and kind efforts among your friendsThinking you might be willing to extend your good work, I am writing this to say—If, among your acquaintances there is a man of character, middle age or elderly—who would find the remainder of lifes pathway more enjoyable by the companionship of a true woman—kindly call his attention to this.
I am not an adventuress just a lonely woman with no opportunity of meeting gentlemen, and to introduce myself will say—I am of good US birth, middle age, widow by death, Christian principles, refined, quiet manner, calm even disposition, splendid health, poised dignified appearance medium highth, weigh 145 lbs.
I am all alone in the world and would certainly appreciate loving care and a home life with a congenial companion.
This is written in all sincerity and whatever the result—I thank you,
Mrs May Arline.
