Text

Dear Mr. Atwell: -

As I recall, you and Mrs. Atwell expressed a sentimental desire to own FAIRY WAND, and I spoke to Mr. John Crawford of the Brtitish Bloodstock Agency, who bought her for Mr. John Hertz at the Cochran Sale in Kentucky about the matter. Mr. Crawford has written me from England that he has communicated with Mr. Hertz, who is willing for you to have her. I assume the price would be the same as selling price at auction.

With kindest regards and best wishes to you both, I am

Sincerely yours,

Cary T. Grayson
