My dear Dr. Grayson
I want to ask a small favor of you, and that is, have you an old suit of clothes you do not want, as I want a suit for a young man who worked for me when I was manager, at 1712 H. St., who is suffering from tuberculosis and is in very poor circumstances.
How did you like my sample of soap, I see they are using it at the White House for cleansing purposes.
Hoping you are well,
I am very truly yours,
HC Allen,

Formerly Manager at 1712 H. St. NW
