My dear Dr. Grayson

This is to ask you to become a Life-Member of the Confederate Memorial Literary Society of Confederate Museums in Richmond Va—You are one of the “Immortals” anyway,—but I want your name enrolled forever in our Year Book—The fee is ten dollars—without notoriety or further obligation,—you receive a beautiful certificate of membership. I am sending you a marked copy of the Year Book. You will notice the names of Pres. and Mrs. Wilson, Sec. McAdoo, Embassador Page, Mr. John Skelton Williams, &c &c.

Hoping that you will give me the pleasure and honor of adding yours,

With great respect and appreciation,

(Mrs. Chas. Herbert) Blanche G. Silliman
