Dear Friend
This good weather makes my thoughts come to old friends & old times. So a few lines to you as all my old friends from here are gone now and you are the only old friend left. I sure miss Doc & Bob, as we used to go fishing this kind of weather. Don’t forget to come up this year for some fishing & hunting. I am waiting very patiently for the presents you promised. I have been rather sick lately but feel better now. How does this find you? Was fishing today down on Muddy run and only caught one jack water was to clear and bait was bad. Best wishes for you—your old friend,
Coonie Hansbury.
