My darling

I miss you and love you with all my heart.

I went by 1600 to-day. Everything looked very lonely and homesick—but otherwise all right.

I spent this morning at the Dispensary. Dr. Axson arrived to-day. He is in poor health; his nerves are on edge or more correctly off—I hope to get him back in normal shape.

I had a fine visit with Mr. McAdoo Monday night. He is great.

Everyone remarks how much better I am looking—It is all due to that visit with you and the boys last Sunday & Monday. The weather is fine here now but not the life in the air as where you are.

The President is improving, generally—My best and most affectionate love to you the boys—Goodnight, my love—11.30 P.M.

Ever Your own
