Dear Sir
I write to ask if I may be permitted to assist you in trying to improve our President, Woodrow Wilson’s health, just thru prayer. I use no other way or means whatever. I simply make the appeal to God and he does the healing. I never have used it publicly nor for pay. I have taken some special cases quietly and used it among my Friends and fFamily. It is necessary for the one to be healed to know about it and be in Harmony with the work.
I have watched the papers with great interest and I do so want to see him able to carry the “League of Nations” as well as the many other wonderful things which he has in hand, thru to a successful finish and receive the credit which belongs to him. I have always believed the “League of Nations” to be an Inspired work given to him to unfold to the world.
Just a few words of explanation that you may not think me an impositer A few months ago I took up the study of Hotel work with the Clifford M. Lewis Hotel Training School in Washington DC (A correspondence course) and I have bought a small and real old Hotel here to improve and make clean and comfortable for working people. This work seems to appeal to me and when I get this place in good shape I expect to sell it or rent it and take another for the same purpose. There seems to be so many “unfit” places. I refer you to Mr. Lewis if you wish reference.
If I may be permitted to do this I most earnestly request that it shall only be known by The President and his immediate Family and yourself. It is God’s work and I want no credit nor reward the fact that I can help a little is enough
