My Dear Sir

I am one of the Old Confederates. I am 73 1/2 years old 6 feet 1 inch tall. I weigh 190 # I can go up 3 flights of stairs at least 8 or ten times a day. I can walk brisk and often take a jaunt with some young soldier of the last War to show him an old man is not dead at 75 years old. I am from Mississippi. I am Personal acquaintell with Pat Harrison. I am a dear believer in you and your policies and I feel confident that Lodge and his crowd took advantage of you because what you were doing was right but they wanted to defeat you because a Republican did not do it.

Now all this stuff don't count a cent but I am interested in your health and from what I read of the formation of clots etc. in your head & legs, I want to tell you what will almost make a new man out of you.

You begin to take 5 drops of Tinct Iodine when in a half cup of milk at breakfast and dinner or rather take it twice a day. Increase the dose one drop each day until you get to 10 drops 3 times a day and if you have Rheumatism and it don't cure you I will sign a lie bill. An old Swamp Doctor cured Person that were on crutches with Iodine (Tinct)

Dont be afraid about it killing you. I can take 1/2 tea spoon full at a time and I never taste it but I attribute my good health to Tinct Iodine. Most every other month I take it a week or so.

I believe in it so and now the Doctors are praising it for consumption Etc is enough to have you give it a little test.

Yours very respectfully

Zach T. Hoskins
